Hello! My name is Luana Dutra. I'm Brazilian and 23 years old. I studied English for six years (2014-2020) at two language schools, from beginner to a teacher’s course. I majored in Modern Languages (Portuguese/Spanish) at Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), from Brazil. During my college years (2019-2022), I had the opportunity to be an English teacher (2019), a trainee teacher at schools (2020-2022), and to study literary translation through a project (2021-2022). This project was a scholarship directed to students, and thanks to it, I got to research a famous translator and poet in Brazil, Haroldo de Campos. During 2022, I was a Census Worker at the Brazilian Institution of Geography and Statistics. I just recently started to work as a translator, but this comes with years of studying and the experiences I described. Even though my main object is literary translation, I have many areas of interest, as described in my profile. Looking forward to great projects!
